History

The Baron Giuseppe Piccolo, last of the Nebrodis Leopards, owner of the manor of Grenne, covering several acres in the hills of Ficarra, tired of being a lawyer, has turned together with his wife Francesca his "beautiful country house of sixteenth century" in an agritourism. Love for nature and for tradition have been handed on to his childrens that now, along with some friends, assist the Baron in conducting, maintaining the structure and even the mission.

The Farm of Grenne rises among the olive trees, 4 km far from the sea of the Tyrrhenian coast and enjoys a privileged position, both for the beauty of the landscape, and for the ease wherewith you can reach the most beautiful places in Sicily - Aeolian Islands, Taormina, Cefalù, Nebrodi Park, Palermo.

Welcomes its guests in an atmosphere almost of times gone by where, in a very peaceful setting, you can savor the traditional Sicilian cuisine, expertly prepared with the help of Mrs. Francesca, well-known for her culinary skills and for having been, for many years, the soul of the agritourism.

You can spend the winter evenings by the fireplace listening to music, reading a book or becoming protagonists of the various events; in summer you can enjoy relaxation and entertainment. This farm offers to its guests that contact with nature which is essential to unwind, while maintaining all the comforts of modern life.
